DESCRIPTION: This print is a still from a film
series entitled "Obscure Object." A film composed
of thousands of Tal Shpantzer's photographs
animated by Stephen Dirkes. The inspiration pays
homage to 1960s European spy action thrillers. This
process led to a discovery of creating short films
using digital still stop-motion animation as opposed
to the traditional use of film or video.
MATERIALS: 8 x 10 and 20 x 30, C-Print, 1/2”
black beautifully finished composite wood backer
boards with keyhole mounting slots ready to hang.
The mounting boards are smaller on all four sides
to create a floating effect
