handbag resting upon an illuminated silcone cast wood
plinth. It's contents vary in each piece.
INSPIRATION: Light up my world. My fascination with
handbags started at an early age as this was my father’
s business. My dolls lived in handbags not houses.
Those zipped, clipped and shiny monogrammed
invitations to womanhood. A woman without her purse
feels lost and the personal interior is both intimate and
surprising.
MATERIALS: Resin and Silcone.
MEASUREMENTS: The sculpture measures 12” x 8”
x 3.5".
